A great year for the off-road cycling teams we have been supporting for some time now. One of the key points of our brand is to test products on those who put all the components of their bikes to the test. That’s why we rely on selected teams with top performing athletes.
We start with those who heavily abuse their bikes by running them on the toughest dh and enduro trails.
With TEAM TRIBE we can boast of having won two Italian DH titles with two phenomenal athletes: Rebecca Bruno and Filippo Gilardino. Rebecca also competed in the Italian enduro championship, obtaining the tricolour jersey. Thomas Bruno, also a TEAM TRIBE rider, won the title of Italian DH vice-champion, also taking overall victory in the Coppa Italia circuit.
Another important team that we support is the SCOUT BIKE team, which achieved a great result in the 2024 season: Costerman Mattia was Italian Pump Track champion and qualified seventh at the World Championships in the same speciality.
Among the supported athletes we also have the great Silvia Penso, very active on social media and a great rider who is making her way in the world of gravity.
For her this season we can remember a second place at the Open Enduro World Championship in Ligurian Finale, the victory and the leader’s jersey at the Italian Enduro Series, the Triveneto Enduro Series, and finally the Friuli Venezia Giulia. Sixth place at the Absolute Italian Championships, confirmation of the goodness of this extraordinary athlete.
In the men’s scene, the athlete we supported, Zeno Gregorio, was well represented in an increasingly fierce gravity scene. Among the best results of the 2024 season for him were a second place in the Triveneto Enduro championship and a top ten position at the absolute Italian championships in the same category.
Also we at Sprayke are passionate cyclists, our Michele Cereda has in fact competed in this 2024 in the Italian DH cup winning in his category, testimony of our passion, dedication and love for two wheels.
In the Olympic mtb scene, two teams are actively supported by us: The Santa Cruz Rockshox team with reigning Italian champions Martina Berta and Luca Braidot, where they also had the honour of wearing the Italian national team jersey during the 2024 Olympics. For Luca, numerous placings during the season with a particular focus on the importance of fourth place at the Olympics, a podium that faded due to a small accident on the race course. Superlative performance for him.
Excellent placings also for rider Martina Berta, who earned the third step of the podium at the xc world championships, ranking her as one of the strongest active athletes in the world.
Respectable performances also for the Ktm Protek Elettrosystem team, which provided plenty of excitement in the two most important Italian cross country circuits.
Giorgia Marchet and Gioele Bertolini took the leader’s jersey in the men’s and women’s Open category of the Internazionali d’Italia Series.
In the Italia Bike Cup, Giorgia and Gioele repeated the result by taking the leader’s jersey, while Andreas Vittone took second place in the men’s Open category behind his team-mate. In the U23 men, another athlete from the Ktm Protek Elettrosystem team took the lead: Fabio Bassignana.
Our commitment for 2025 will certainly be to continue to give the best teams on the national cycling scene a boost. Not only to support the best and most deserving athletes, but also to continue to test our products in the most demanding conditions and on the most difficult circuits on the national and international scene. The year 2025 is certainly shaping up to be an even more interesting and richer year from a sporting point of view, involving other disciplines of the cycling world.
