There are sports where the bike has to endure. In cyclocross, it has to endure something else: every single lap.
Mud builds up on the chain, sprockets and brakes, water washes away the lubricant, and the terrain attacks every component. In these conditions, athletes don’t finish the race on the bike they started with: the bike is swapped every lap. In the pits, someone washes it, cleans it and gets it ready for the next lap, while the rider is already out on another one. It’s a non-stop routine where the speed and effectiveness of the products make a real difference.
Mud, dirt and grass weigh the bike down and stop riders from shifting gears effectively and consistently. A dropped chain can cost a race and slow a cyclocross rider dramatically, precisely on courses where technique and equipment matter as much as strength.

A team aiming high
Ale CX Team is the Modena-based team of president Stefano Belloi, now in its eighth year in cyclocross. Last season it took 32 victories, including the Italian title and the European bronze medal won by Nicole Azzetti in the Juniors. Sports director Milena Cavani leads the team technically, supported by multiple champion Eva Lechner as technical collaborator.
The team was officially presented at the Auditorium Spira Mirabilis in Formigine and will take on the 2026/27 season with 15 athletes: 9 in the international categories (Elite, Under 23 and Juniors) and 6 in the youth section (Allievi and Esordienti), boys and girls. The stated goal is to confirm their place at the top of cyclocross, at national level and, why not, internationally too.
Why cyclocross is the ideal testing ground
A team that swaps bikes every lap works with several bikes at once, and each one has to be ready again within minutes. You need products that do their job immediately and reliably:
